I got the Xenopixel Obi V1 version for better lighting compared to the baselit version that I previously had. Unfortunately, while the Xenopixel version has much better lighting, it loses out on design flaws.
The current iteration of the ignition button seems to come loose on its own, and the core does not have anything keeping it in place inside the hilt. So on multiple occasions at events/cons, a swing or twirl with the saber moves the core around enough to make the saber die and require a battery reset.
The Baselit version I ordered in 2024 is incredibly sturdy and well made, especially compared to this.
I got this saber about half a year ago. I have cancer and it really cheered me up for the hole month. At the beginning i had the problem that the ignition button was broken but the support was very responsive and gave me a new button.
All in all great product would buy again!
I unboxed my lightsaber this morning and it was amazing. Very bright and definitely worth it. Also the customer support was very helpful and the shipping was very quick 👍
I absolutely love it its a lot better than I expected some parts came slightly loose but no big deal as could easily tighten them all the fonts are very good and are also still decently bright during the day the app is also easy to use but disconnects easily to im still figuring out all the motion controls but ill get there but all i can say is i love it and if your looking for a close replica but also an affordable one this is an amazing lightsaber to go for
Really enjoyed the obi v1 xenopixel saber sounds great and feels great when I first look at it online I thought I was going to feel plasticy but I really dosnt when its in your hands 10/10
Is my first saber, and I love it, is a xeno saber and is awesome, the sound, the ignition the colors, all of it, i hope soon I can buy the anakin saber, but the replica from the movie
Upon delivery the box was crushed and mangled, I was worried about the contents. Right out of the box it was what you see in the video. With a little elbow grease I got it back together and it works well enough and no more rattle. It’s quite bright overall.. Sound quality is tinny a little weak on the overall tone. Should be fine for cons.
Too complicated. Don't need 27 color options and all the different sound effects. All I needed it to do was turn on. Not have to count seconds to get to the right mode and then have it change on me because I held a button to long. Instruction booklet isn't much help either. Print is too small to read.
Not going to lie, this is a solid lightsaber! I love the detail and the feel of the hilt, the balance is really solid! Two items with the saber that are a little off setting:
1 - blade slot has a smaller diameter and is thinner which does not allow for me to swap the blade with other sabers.
2 - NO LIGHT RING on button. I have to guess the time for features that I would usually be able to visually check on other hilts.
Very cool saber, however i don’t recommend buying the saber with the 92 cm blade (since the blade is thinner than usual, and the blade doesn’t insert that deep into the saber, it wobbles a lot due to the low stiffness of the blade. 72 or 82 cm recommended (for the baselit version))
